This is done to avoid creating teams that either dominate each week or that loose by wide margins each week. Through the assessment, we attempt to be sure that each team has a proper mix of good and above average players.
We feel that close games are more enjoyable for both your child playing soccer and you watching them play.
Please note that assessments ratings are confidential and are not shared with anyone, not even the coach. They are simply used to provide a guide when we establish the teams.
When: Sunday, June 8, 2008
Important: Please have the players arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of their grade and gender group Assessment to register and receive an Assessment Number.
What to Bring: Players should show up with a properly inflated soccer ball (size 4 - with their name clearly marked) and water to drink (the container should have clearly visible name on it as well). They should come dressed in a simple white t-shirt, shorts, shin gaurds under soccer socks, with cleats or "turf" shoes.
